Handcrafted clothing reconnecting tradition, Nature and lifestyle.

BILULU is an independent brand that creates unique, bespoke garments – basic, timeless knitwear dyed using self-produced, plant-based colours of site-specific origin.

Founded in 2013 by Lucrezia Moro, BILULU offers a chance to reconnect with crafts traditions through timeless, genderless clothing in a relaxed and informal style.

BILULU uses only quality yarns of animal and vegetable origin.

Its cashmere, vicuna, cruelty-free silk, organic wool, linen and hemp are made by small producers and Italian companies that comply with international eco-sustainability standards and responsible working practices.

BILULU BASIC LIGHT COLLECTION

Launched in 2021, BILULU’s BASIC line of essentials are inspired by functional clothing archetypes. With a relaxed outline and recognizable shapes, these softly-styled clothes with a sartorial touch blend familiar lines and evocative details. The BASIC line transcends temporal, gender and geographical definitions. Without claiming to be perfect for everyone, these garments cater to the needs of many.

BILULU ACADEMY

Workshops & Online Classes

-

As well as making products, BILULU runs courses as a practical way of raising levels of environmental awareness.

The BILULU ACADEMY is an expression of Lucrezia Moro’s desire, as an artisan, to share her practical knowledge on dyeing, knitting, embroidery and mending.

Our Natural Dyeing course is now online!

Learn how to dye yarns using local botany and post-consume materials.

“I believe that passing on knowledge about materials and processes is the most immediate way to reconnect with craftsmanship. It’s all about sharing our experiences with Nature, for example through foraging, something that puts us back in touch with Nature in a direct and visceral way.”
